Here's what we were working with - an outdated main panel that simply didn't have the capacity to support a modern home. Old panels like this become a bottleneck fast. Every EV charger, heat pump, or solar system you want to add later hits a wall if the foundation isn't there.

So we swapped it out with a fresh 200-amp main panel, installed clean with properly run conduit up the exterior wall. That new conduit run isn't just for looks - it's part of making sure everything is up to code, weather-protected, and built to handle whatever gets added down the line.

The solar-ready piece matters more than most people realize. A lot of homeowners think they can just bolt solar on whenever they're ready, but if your panel isn't prepped for it, you're looking at extra work and extra cost later. Getting it right during the panel upgrade saves real money when that day comes.

Same goes for EV charging. As more households add electric vehicles, having a panel with the headroom to support a Level 2 charger without constantly tripping breakers or running at max capacity is a big deal. This upgrade gives the homeowner exactly that kind of breathing room.

Whether you're planning ahead or just know your current panel is past its prime, a proper panel changeout is one of the smartest investments you can make in your home's electrical system. Clean work, built to last.
